Old Tech Books

Suppose civilization collapsed, and you survived. As an over specialized modern, it would be a struggle to rebuild civilization - up to that apocalyptic moment at least. If you wanted to, you could read these old books and learn how to make vacuum tube amplifiers.

  • Generally in any apocalyptic situation you'd probably be more more worried about finding uncontaminated drinking water, fending off giant cochroaches, etc. before building a computer the size of ones living room.

Also, this begs the question, how is one supposed to access these online documents in any technological armageddon?

I suppose one could print them out ahead of time and store them with all that drinking water and roach repellant.

  • Well, good point(s). I stand corrected.
