Smart people are dumb, perhaps the beginning of a series

I've been down this road before, and although I tend to harp on it, please don't think I've drunk too deep of the hateraide. Self-hateraide or otherwise, Nobel prize winners are dumb.

As an aside, the best line I've read today was: "I have always suspected that, at root, multiculturalism means, at least for westerners, tapas today, tom kha kai tomorrow, and tarte tatin the day after." By their palettes you shall know them.
