Depthscraper
Call me crazy, but that Depthscraper actually seems kinda cool. The mirror at the top is a little goofy. Also, Depthscraper is a little too metal. I'd go with Magnapenetrator, or maybe Tetonic Livingshaft, or go ahead and throw out decorum and call it Trumphole.

Is it just me, or does building your structure *inside* the potentially shifting bedrock as a safety measure seem a mite, counter-intuitive?
Also, that mirror is not only very goofy, but inspires thoughts of residents being fried like ants.

I don't think it would help at all, not to mention problems with ground water. Ever seen a dry basement? Me neither.
The mirror looks like a giant desk lamp.
